Ensure you have attached all the relevant documents such as certified copies of your passport, education qualifications, English qualifications, working experience (if relevant) and RPL application (if relevant).

Enrolment Information

Acceptance of Offer

Applicants whose application has been successful will be sent a Letter of Offer.

Applicants indicate their acceptance of an offer by signing the Acceptance Form which is attached with the Letter of Offer. It requires the applicant to acknowledge that they have read and understood all Terms of offer provided in the Letter of Offer, and transfer the amount shown as being due in the Letter of Offer.

Credit and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

Applicants who wish to apply for credit must do so at the time of application for admissions at IIBT. The applicant must first indicate his/her wish to apply for credit on the Application for Enrolment Form. The Admissions Officer will forward the Application for Course Credit Form to the applicant. The applicant will be required to provide certified evidence demonstrating successful completion of subjects (‘pass’ grade or higher) or complete courses of formal study, provided they meet the equivalency conditions stated in the Credit and RPL Policy.

Deferment

An applicant may apply for and be approved to defer commencement of studies at IIBT until a subsequent term (not more than 12 months). Refer to the Refund Policy – Withdrawal, Cancellation and Deferment for more details.

Fees and Charges

IIBT course fee schedule of tuition fees and other charges is available to students online via the IIBT website. Students should access this site regularly to ensure they have up-to-date information. Refer to the Fees Policy for more details.

Admission Criteria

  •  Minimum Age

    Students must be at least 18 years of age at the time that they commence Postgraduate Qualifying Program (PQP) course, and 16 years of age at the time that they commence ELICOS courses.

Additional Information

• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples

Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students are encouraged to apply for entry to any IIBT courses through general admissions.

• Domestic applicants with overseas qualifications

Australian citizens and permanent residents who have successfully completed overseas qualifications will be assessed by the Overseas Qualifications Unit (OQU) – Migration Services, Western Australian Department of Training and Workforce Development (DTWD).
