The IIBT Postgraduate Qualifying Program (PQP) is the pathway of choice for international bachelor or diploma graduates who do not meet the academic or English requirements for postgraduate studies in Australia.

The PQP has a strong focus on the English language, research methods, and communication skills required for postgraduate study in Australia. Included in the PQP is the completion of a practical Research Project which reinforces the concepts and skills addressed throughout the course.

The course is designed to assist the students in developing the knowledge, attitudes, values, and competencies to succeed at the postgraduate level by providing:

  1. Small personalised classes taught by leading academics,
  2. Academic writing and speaking including presentations,
  3. Analytical and critical evaluation,
  4. How to undertake and manage research,
  5. Planning and writing research papers, proposals and reports.

Academic:
Completion of a three-year higher education qualification, or overseas equivalent.

 IELTS 6.0 (writing and speaking 5.5) or equivalent
